Does your desk or wall calendar have actual events in it? (Unlike mine, which is basically for decoration only). Do you automatically break down larger projects into the detail-oriented tasks you love?
You may be a Planner.
Like Prioritizers, Planners tend to be highly-organized and conscientious. They love the details, will carefully plan out lists of tasks, schedule them, and frequently complete them ahead of the deadline.
The Planner’s dependence on structure and schedule, though, can lead to a lack of spontaneity.
Planners need to regularly ask themselves why they’re doing a task and what their top priorities are to stay on track. It’s not just completing the task, it’s completing the right task.
Planners are natural project managers, and have skill sets that can help get things done on time. Timing and schedules are important and the Planner’s play an important role in the Pink Pineapple method.
